CREDIT ADVISORS FOUNDATION WILL COLLABORATE WITH COUNCIL BLUFFS AGENCIES TO OFFER FINANCIAL COUNSELING
Credit Advisors Foundation received a grant totaling $5,910 from the Iowa West Foundation headquartered in Council Bluffs.
“We are excited to receive support to expand our work in Council Bluffs,” says Sam Hohman, Executive Director of Credit Advisors Foundation. “This grant will provides funds for Credit Advisors Foundation to reach out and collaborate with other organizations and agencies in Council Bluffs. Clients are in need of more than one type of service because no one just has one problem. Social service agencies cannot solve all problems for people who are economically challenged. We are the only area agency with the expertise and ability to provide one-on-one comprehensive financial and housing counseling in person in Council Bluffs.”
“Many families in our community often struggle with a variety of issues beyond just their monetary needs,” said Pete Tulipana, President and CEO of Iowa West Foundation. “This grant will allow the Credit Advisors Foundation to work with existing local agencies already serving vulnerable populations to offer financial education and counseling. This collaborative approach will enhance the results to stabilize families.”
